I was a little worried that we were planning on going out of town the day after buying the fish. But thankfully the poor thing died its first night of old age.
Or maybe of poisoning.
Ashlyn doesn't seem too upset. If you ask her about her fish, she just laughs and gleefully yells, "My fishy died!" and then she giggles uncontrollably. I wonder where she picked that attitude up from?

Ha!
Really?!? That night? Lucky you. Too funny.
Ya, that is pretty lucky that it killed over so soon. Have I mentioned that Trent wants to get a puppy... I don't think so. We made an agreement that he could get a puppy when Tru is potty trained. So if I have a 6 year old in diapers you'll know why.
It died that night???? Had to be poison, unless you filled the bowl with boiling water to begin with!
I'm sorry for your loss, Brit.
Didn't Nemo pretend to die so that he could get flushed down the toilet and find his way back to the ocean? The dumb humans actually believed that he was dead. True story .... look it up.
what? you are so lucky. a friend of mine bought Sam a fish for his birthday (thanks a lot). i thought it would last a few weeks, maybe. it was MONTHS before that thing died. and it only died because it's tank was so dirty I finally cleaned it....with soap. apparently you're not supposed to do that.
Let me guess--arsenic?
ashlyn's uncontrolled laughter is really a mask for her grief she's working through.
