Probably the Most Depressing Thing EVER!

How does the saying go?  You can take the girl out of Seattle, but you can't take the Seattle out of the girl.  (Or some variation of that!)

Seriously!  I think I need at least 2 weeks of non stop gray, drizzling rain to cheer me up!

I got my fix here. It rained and was gray for like 2 weeks straight.

I know that someday the lack of gray and drizzle will bring you back here! I just know it!

So let me see if I get this; gray sky and snow = bad. Blue sky and sunshine = bad. Gray sky and drizzle=good? Why are you here again? I am SO glad you are but I'm afraid you're going to be depressed 11 months out of 12.

Brit-Thanks for your input on the Hawaii stuff. I think we are really moving there..just for fun! I can't believe it. I have a few more questions. What did you do to wash your clothes with no washer or dryer? What did you you for a car or mode of transportation? Where is the best lace to look for a job or apartment listings? I don't think I would have so many questions if I actually had ever been to hawaii. I am flying blind. I am really excited but I have no idea what to expect or how to move overseas. You guys are the experts, you did it twice! Did you buy most all of your kitchen stuff like pots and pans over there or did you ship stuff? He has to find a job first...what did Rusty do when you lived there?

If we could have the rain wash away all our snow I would take it too! I saw Twilight for the first time tonight and it made me miss Washington!

i guess we all have our issues: i look in the sky and i see.....not clouds,...not rain....not sun....not blue....i see....STUFF. as in..., you know, STUFF. as in pollution. i'd love to see sun or blue or rain or clouds, but mostly i just see STUFF. so i've learned to quit looking at the sky. i love china, but i do miss the blue of the sky and the clouds and the rain and occasional snow. i just miss sky. so order me some sky when we come to visit next month, brit.

Heck Yeah! Over here when it rains, everyone is complaining. But I love it when it rains; reminds of being home. All I want to do is curl up and read a book or go play frisbee in the mud.

I'm SO glad my fellow Kitsap Peninsula-ers get it!

As for moving back there, maybe sooner than you think... :( Which makes me kind of sad because I REALLY do love Boise!

And Lacey, I really hope everyone is completely baffled by your comment. :D

Finally someone who understands!!! I get so tired of squinting in the sunlight all the time (I can't be bothered to keep track of sunglasses). My friends think it's weird that I'm happy when it's overcast...
