I Have a One-Year-Old and a Two-Year-Old

Technically they're just under two years apart.  But I have found great joy in saying that as often as possible in the last 6 weeks because people look at me like I'm crazy.  And yeah, I know that expression well.  It's the same look that I give Carol pretty regularly.  Yes, Carol.  You totally deserve that for calling me a moron!  :D

But my baby girl is going to be three on Saturday!  She's been in meltdown mode all week (and what I mean is that she's been screaming so hard she turns purple), so I'm hoping she's just getting the terrible twos out of her.  Wishful thinking, huh?

funny, i was just going to post about how I two 3 year olds right now. I always get "are they twins?" I'm starting to almost say "yes". it's less embarrassing.

Haha. Ok, I guess I derserve that. I do get wierd looks when i tell them how old they are. People always mistake them for twins even though Tori is a whole foot shorter then Heath is.
What I do LOVE though, is when they think I'm just a babysitter.... :P

Yeah, good luck with that. My boys have consistently been worse at three then they were at two...

Wow, I just realized that I'll be experiencing this same phenomenon. But mine are just two weeks shy of two years apart.

Yeah, Bethany's situation=more embarrassing. Ha!

It is strange to me that Ashlyn is just now turning three. I feel as if Logan has been three for so long, that Ashlyn should have turned three a while ago. I can't believe it has only been a few months.

I know the look you are talking about though. I get that whenever I am watching my niece who is a year younger than Logan. I quickly inform people that I am not THAT crazy! ;)

See, most people would say, I have a 13 month old and a 23 month old. I can never figure out how many months old my kids are. So, I prefer to just round it to the nearest year. Sometimes, after rounding I still cannot figure out their ages, so I just round to the nearest decade. I don't know why people give me funny looks when i tell them I have a son who is zero and a daughter who is zero.

my favorite thing was when i could say "my kids are 2,4,6,8." but it's even more fun now to say "my kids are 19,23,25,27,29,33,35,36,38"...oh, heck, i have no idea hold old my kids are! i don't even know how old i am any more. i can, however, always remember my year of birth, so i just do the math to find out my age.
