I started a Couch to 5K program this week. For those of you unfamiliar with the program, it's a 9 week running program that gets you running a 5K by the end of week 9. Anyways, I started on week 3. But I'm not running fast enough.
Wanna' know how I know? Because mosquitos have been landing on the backs of my legs since I started on Monday. From the top of my knee to my mid-calfs I have gotten 42 mosquito bites.
All things considered, I think that breaks my record of 55 that night when Rusty and I were sleeping in our car because we were homeless.

YIKES about the mosquitos. I'm doing that program right now as well. Actually I've been doing it for about a month and a half but 3 weeks in we went to Washington and then my family came...so yeah I started over this week :). Which I was so excited because last night I was able to pick up my speed to 5 (lame I know but great from my previous 4 :) ) That was on the tred mill by the way. Anyway looks like we are working for ths same goal...again ;)

holy cow.. that is just crazy. i think the couch to 5K outside is totally not worth the bug bites. go to the gym! don't you get a free membership now?
I got one on my face, too, but it hasn't gone away and it doesn't itch...so I guess it was a zit.
I do have a free gym membership, but I prefer to run outside. When it gets colder I'm sure I'll take advantage of the gym.
Man I hate mosquitos!!! Way to go on the running though! I need to start something like that... i've been taking a long break.
