I deleted some posts...

I went through and deleted some posts about some things that have happened to me over the last year with some various women. I decided I didn't want that stuff (and some of the mean comments that came with it) on my family blog. Me and a couple of friends set up a different blog and wrote about what was happening online with those girls. We started it last Saturday morning and I think we broke some records! In 5 1/2 days, we had 1204 indivuals look at the blog with 7518 hits on it, and almost 600 people bookmarked it. They're going to be sorely disappointed because as of right now, it is private.
The personal attacks, the cattiness, and downright cruelty of some of the girls was very disturbing. I tried very hard to make it fun and lighthearted, but obviously failed. And no, you won't get an invitation to view it.

13 Minutes

That's how long it took me to wake up both kids, change their diapers, get them dressed, pack a diaper bag, get Ashlyn breakfast (to go) and get them in the car. Oh yeah, and one of the car seats wasn't installed so I had to install that.
Try and beat that!

Ummm...what?

"I couldn't locate the degrees of freedom for the confirmatory factor analysis of the achenbach model."

That's Rusty's problem, and that's what he was complaining about the other night. I am SO glad that I married someone smarter than me.

What do you think?

Do they look the same to you? They're definitely not as similar looking as they used to be, but there's still a family resemblance. Or maybe it's just the hair?

Valentine's Day!

Rusty was out of town on Valentine's Day. His first business trip, and the second time we've been apart since we got married 5 years ago. The first time I've had to take care of the kids by myself! I feel for all those single moms out there.
I felt worse for Rusty though. They worked him hard. He was scheduled from 4:30AM until 1:00AM. That's not much sleep for 5 days straight, and he came home with pneumonia. So he wasn't much help once he got back. :(
Here are Ashlyn and Austin's valentines from Nanee and Papa. If you look close, the Valentine says "Ashley". LOL

Rusty got me a present for everyday that he was gone. :) It was sweet. I got him a tripped out toy helicopter. He plays with it all the time.

Oh yeah, Maui

I forgot to add these last November. We decided to fly out to Maui one day (before Ashlyn turned 2) just to see the island. It was pretty cheap and we didn't have to worry about a hotel since we were just staying for the day. Here's a few pictures from our trip. Austin was only 6 weeks old, and we had a blast!
